Blog 7. The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe

The book I choose for Blog 7 is The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe by, C.S. Lewis.  The story begins around the start of World War Two, when four siblings Lucy, Edmound, Susan, and Peter are being evacuated from London to escape the bombings from Germany.  They are taken by train to the English countryside to stay with what would seem to be a mysterious and secretive professor.  While bored in the professors big house the siblings play a game of hide and go seek, while exploring for a hiding spot Lucy comes upon a wardrobe and discovers a doorway to a magical and foreign land named Narnia, and an out of this world adventure of a lifetime begins.  I choose this book because, it is one of my favorite childhood stories as well as the series The Chronicoles of Narnia, in addition, it is a really good and wondeful read and if you look deep you can find a lot of meaning and symbolism in the story.  Plus im a big fan of adventure, fantasy, suspense, and mystery and this book has it all and more.

Blog 2 - Supernatural Song

N.E.R.D - "Chariot of Fire"

(Chorus) Sweet chariot of fire
Come swing us all away
Sing us a song a day
Away, away, zoom
Or maybe your in your car just driving away
And everything's okay

Floating around
when theres no need to walk
And theres nothing but gods
And feeling no talk
Where there is golden bees and silver birds
And dreams are like shoot
They come true and heard
Every moment
Feels like I spin mildred
I mean
I spin music
So what about then

[chorus]

When every star flicker
Bright as a sister
Just but a whisper commands your love
You write sun in the skies
All the flowers harmonize
Thats where your starry eyes will stand above
